Abbot the Tiger Tamming Monk.

September 2, 2010

On the route to Nine Creeks you can cut to the left and pedal a ridiculously steep road to reach Li’an Temple, picturesque, quiet and remote, but the best part is Abbot the Monk who sits solemnly on top of a tiger hidden behind the main building. His story is fascinating but even more interesting is the expression of the tiger with her protruding tongue and hungry gaze.
